Sarah’s LTA NATIONAL VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR 2021

After a challenging year it was brilliant news to hear in June that at the 2021 LTA Tennis Awards ceremony our chairman Sarah had been crowned as the NATIONAL VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR 2021 This followed on from the announcements earlier in the year of her selection as the Somerset County winner and subsequently the regional winner for the South and South West. This incredible achievement justly recognises her boundless enthusiasm and commitment to our club. She has been a shining light in the last Covid restricted year leading from the front and working tirelessly to ensure that we have all been able to return to play in a safe and enjoyable environment. Sarah is a passionate advocate of promoting diversity and she has done an enormous amount of background work enabling the club to be an inclusive venue for all. Our thanks are due to Sarah for her amazing contribution, her award is richly deserved and is an outstanding accolade. Huge congratulations Sarah and very well done!
